Our pastor, Bro Anthony Liso, has a love for the Truth found in the Word of God and a deep desire to see souls saved and to fill the charge he has been given to preach the Word (2 Timothy 4:12). He spent the first 9 years of his life under Bro Mefford's spiritual guidance and then, when Bro Mefford retired, continued under Bro Stoltzfus. Both of these men are amazing examples of true men of God and they instilled in Bro Liso an understanding and love for the Bible and Biblical values and standards. In his preteens Bro Liso began attending Faithful Mens classes, at the Apostolic Church of Las Vegas, where Bro Stoltzfus opened up the scriptures and explained the roles, expectations, requirements, and responsibilities of a minister. As he felt God calling him into the ministry he continued to attend these very beneficial classes, stayed in communication with his pastor, and sought God's will and guidance until doors began to open.....

On November 4, 2006 he and his wife, Karlisa, were married. As they began their life together, Bro Liso began feeling a burden for the town of Pahrump. He was not yet certain of God's ministerial calling on his life, but he knew he wanted to reach out for hungry souls and share with them the message of salvation found in Acts 2:38. He spoke with Bro Stoltzfus and received his blessing to hold "Church in the Park" services in Pahrump. These services typically consisted of two to three songs, possibly a couple of testimonies, and a short message focusing on the hope we have in the Word of God and the plan of salvation. As they continued coming to have services in the park, Bro Liso's burden began to grow stronger and stronger until he and Bro Stoltzfus both felt that God was ready for him to start a church here. Doors began to open in amazing ways and Bro and Sis Liso, along with their daughters, Devani and Cheyann, and their son Paladin were able to move out to Pahrump and begin the Apostolic Church of Pahrump. We started in our Garage where we had many great services of worship and prayer! In February of 2019 God opened another door and we were able to move to a small storefront on 160 where we currently hold services! God has since blessed us with another member of the family, little Zaehlia Liso!
